ANUKALANA YOGA
Anukalana literally means “ integration” and encompasses practices that are part of ancient and modern disciplines. The basis of Anukalana is Tantra, the ancient culture of India that offers practices in every area of human life for the development of consciousness. In addition, Anukalana incorporates principles derived from the study of biomechanics, motor science, myofascial anatomy and osteopathy, and dance.
Aspects such as movements, breath, postural alignment, etc., are studied in detail to be made clear and allow you to find exactly how your body needs to breath, open, move and stop.. in this way you can get rid of deepest visceral tensions for good.
Today the world of Yoga is characterized by many methods and styles that allow you to practice this discipline in various ways. Generally we can divide the various styles of Yoga into two broad categories: the dynamic practice based on Vinyasa (sequence), the practice based mainly on maintaining asanas generally referred to as Hatha.
Anukalana recognizes the validity of both of these modes: the dynamic one where movement coordinated with the breath produces most of the effect and the more stable one where maintaining the postures allows one to attend to alignments and openings with greater precision while developing great awareness.
